Novice LL2 win B championship in Embro
On Saturday Feb. 6th the Aylmer Novice LL2 team travelled to Embro to play in their Hockey Day in Canada tournament. They were guaranteed 3 games. The first game they played against Tavistock Titans and came into a hot goalie. They came away with a 4-3 shootout loss. The next game they played the Ayr Flames. It was a back and forth game with both teams scoring a lot of goals but the kids pulled out a 10-6 win putting them into the B final against a team that they struggled with all season Port Stanley.
It was back and forth and as the game went on our kids seemed to get stronger and stronger. With that they came away with a 7-4 win and the B championships. Congrats to the players and lets keep this up when we play Port Stanley in the playoffs.
