Atom Roster Select Team - What to Expect
The Atom Roster Select Team is based on interest and coaches selection from the Atom Red and Black Local League Teams. Our goal is to further develop players and to enter the team in the Aylmer AE March Break Tournament March 16 - 18, 2018. This will be the first time in many years that an Aylmer team will be entered into our own AE Tournament!
Roster Select players should expect a few practices in advance of the tournament. However, being a Roster Select team, we have not been allocated any ice time by the association.
Coach Shane Deutsch will thus consider both local league team schedules and do his best to pick up free ice opportunities for the Roster Select Team. Please note, such opportunities may come on short notice!
There will also be a couple of pre-planned practices where the team will have to purchase ice. Parents should note that we will be charging $10 per player for such practices to help offset costs.
Parents are reminded to sign up to receive email or text on team events. Please go to the home page of the AMHA website and click on the links in the bottom left hand corner. Team Manager Stephen Douglas will also be managing a team distribution list.
