Pre-School, Initiation & Tyke Thank You Celebration this Sunday at 11:30
To all Pre-School, Initiation and Tyke families, please join us at 11:30 am this Sunday at the complex to formally thank the sponsors who generously provided funding for our half ice boards.

This summer, the AMHA purchased half ice boards in order to implement the changes announced by Hockey Canada for our novice and pre-novice divisions. Such changes commencing this year and extending into 2019 will ultimately require all participants in such divisions to play half ice hockey games. After an exhausted search, the board decided to purchase realistic pro-style boards to divide up the ice into two rinks with rounded corners.

The AMHA was very fortunate that a very generous local group of sponsors showed interest in providing funding for these boards and this fall, the boards have slowly made their way onto the ice for use in our younger divisions.

We are thankful the following donors.

Talbot Elevators Ltd.
Maximum Potential Fitness
Walker Poultry Inc.
Walker Dairy Inc.
J & L Walker Farms Inc.
L & J Killough Farms Inc.

If you see any of these individuals in the community or around the complex, please do not hesitate to give thanks for their generosity.

We are extremely grateful for their contributions.

Tim Hortons
The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program for children four to eight years old who participate in local house league sports teams. The program's philosophy is not based on winning or losing - but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just taking time out to be a kid. Tim Hortons currently sponsors over 200,000 children who play on hockey, soccer, lacrosse, t-ball, baseball and ringette teams across Canada and in the United States. Each sponsored team is supplied with Timbits Minor Sports jerseys or T-shirts. Timbits hockey teams are often given the opportunity to play on-ice scrimmages during intermissions at Junior, American Hockey League (AHL) and National Hockey League (NHL) games.
