Last Week Until Christmas - Monitoring for any changes in programming
As we enter the last week before Christmas, it has become quite obvious that changes in programming are likely on the horizon.

Although we are hopeful to get to Christmas, several leagues have halted their programming in the lead up to Christmas. The U11 LL division of LMLL has been halted, and the Alliance has ceased league play from December 17-26. We have not yet heard from the SCMHL.

The AMHA board asks our members to be extra vigilant over the holiday season. We do have programming in house scheduled, but families should error on the safe side if their child or family member is displaying any symptoms.

We will inform or members as soon as we hear of any changes to our programming. Please check the website often or subscribe to updates.

Thanks to you all for being patient and considerate.

Tim Hortons
The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program for children four to eight years old who participate in local house league sports teams. The program's philosophy is not based on winning or losing - but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just taking time out to be a kid. Tim Hortons currently sponsors over 200,000 children who play on hockey, soccer, lacrosse, t-ball, baseball and ringette teams across Canada and in the United States. Each sponsored team is supplied with Timbits Minor Sports jerseys or T-shirts. Timbits hockey teams are often given the opportunity to play on-ice scrimmages during intermissions at Junior, American Hockey League (AHL) and National Hockey League (NHL) games.
