The AMHA wishes everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Christmas is a time to reflect and be thankful.
I personally am thankful to my own family and friends, for their love and passion, and willingness to support my efforts to give back to the community that gave so much to me.
I am thankful to my extended hockey family, both in Aylmer and St. Thomas for giving my kids a positive outlet in tough times. They need it. I only hope we can continue to balance health and safety, with valuable social outlets.
I am thankful to those who step up and make a difference, who are part of the solution. We have a great board and extended family of coaches and volunteers who commit time and effort for our kids.
There's nothing better than being a part of a community that is friendly, considerate and positive. In spite of the challenges causing division in this community, there are a few places that feel good, where we can all come together... the rink.
