The AMHA would also like to recognize the success of our Rep teams this year.

The U9MD team finished 3rd overall in the U9MD loop of the Southern Counties league.

The U11 Team – OMHA Tier 2 Champions! (See separate article for details)

The U13 team had a good season finishing 2nd overall after the Group A playoffs among “C” teams but fell one win short of the OMHA Championship tournament. They did however play well in the year end Rep tournament but came up a little short and lost in OT in the Finals.

The U15 team finished 1st overall in the Group A playoffs among “C” teams and defeated New Hamburg 2 games to 0 to qualify for the OMHA championships in Barrie last weekend. The team did Aylmer proud but winning both of their games in the round robin portion of the tournament but fell 4-1 to a good Walkerton team in the quarter finals. A top 8 finish in the province is something to be very proud of. Congrats to all the U15 players, coaches, and parents.

The U18 team lost in the southern counties semifinal to New Hamburg and finished the season off with a 2-1-1 record at the year-end Aylmer Rep tournament.

The AMHA board has seen something special over the past few years. With a greater emphasis on giving our kids extra development opportunities, we've seen our organization record improve drastically. The organization Rep record this year was 130-65-21

The AMHA board of directors are very proud of all our teams and appreciate the support from our families.

Tim Hortons
The Timbits Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program for children four to eight years old who participate in local house league sports teams. The program's philosophy is not based on winning or losing - but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just taking time out to be a kid. Tim Hortons currently sponsors over 200,000 children who play on hockey, soccer, lacrosse, t-ball, baseball and ringette teams across Canada and in the United States. Each sponsored team is supplied with Timbits Minor Sports jerseys or T-shirts. Timbits hockey teams are often given the opportunity to play on-ice scrimmages during intermissions at Junior, American Hockey League (AHL) and National Hockey League (NHL) games.
