Novice LL2, Novice, 2015-2016 (Aylmer Minor Hockey Association)

On Saturday Feb. 6th the Aylmer Novice LL2 team travelled to Embro to play in their Hockey Day in Canada tournament.  They were guaranteed 3 games.  The first game they played against Tavistock Titans and came into a hot goalie. They came away with a 4-3 shootout loss. The next game they played the Ayr Flames. It was a back and forth game with both teams scoring a lot of goals but the kids pulled out a 10-6 win putting them into the B final against a team that they struggled with all season Port Stanley.    It was back and forth and as the game went on our kids seemed to get stronger and ...

On the weekend of Nov. 20th-Nov.22nd the Aylmer Novice LL2 team travelled to West Lorne to compete in the 32nd Annual Black and Gold tournament.  While the competition was very strong the kids came out firing in every game coming away with the championship. The Novice LL2 team outscored their opponents 25 to 4.  Congratulations to the players and keep up the hard work.
