Jason Geerts Memorial U7 Jamboree (Aylmer Minor Hockey Association)

OCT 1st, 2025 - JAMBOREE IS NOW FULL!!!!

Welcome to the Jason Geerts Memorial U7 Jamboree!

We are excited to offer this Jamboree again to our local U7 teams. This Jamboree has been named in honour of Jason Geerts, who passed away at the age of 35 due to ALS back in 2019. Jason was a coach within the Aylmer Minor Hockey Program, and also played Junior C with the Aylmer Spitfires team for a number of years. His two sons, also participated within Aylmer Minor Hockey Program and still currently play hockey in and around the Aylmer Community. You will see them both refereeing during the Jamboree.

Each participating team will be playing 3 cross ice games throughout the day. Games start at 8am and will finish by 6pm.

Each player will receive:

- a swag bag (with a variety of items inside)
- a pizza lunch
- a medal
- a Jamboree T-shirt

Teams will also receive 3 player of the game prizes for each game and 1 player of the Jamboree. These are to be given out directly by the coach.

The Jamboree will be taking place on Saturday January 31st at the East Elgin Community Complex in Aylmer.

$600 per team payable by e-transfer to [email protected].

It is recommended that teams consist of no more than 9-12 skaters. If you have a large team, it is recommended to enter 2 separate teams in order to ensure adequate playing time for all kids.
