AMHA Local League Season Wrap up
The AMHA would like to recognize the success of our Local League teams over the past year.

The U8/U9 teams both played well this year and most definitely learnt a ton of new things from their progression from half ice to full ice.

The U11 Black team was crowned LL Tier 1 champions for the 2022-23 season with an outstanding record of 25-3.

The U11 Red team finished 1 pt behind the U11 Black and took 2nd place in the LMLL with an impressive record of 23-4-3.

The U13 Black team received 6th place in the Tier 1 Pool A division after suffering a tough loss in their series with Mount Brydges.

The U13 Red team captured 5th place in the Tier 1 Pool B after beating North Middlesex 2 games to 0.

The U15 team completed the season by capturing 3rd place in Tier 2 Division by beating St. Thomas 2 games to 1.

The U18 team finished the season with a hard-fought battle for 3rd place in Tier 1 vs Lambton Shores Red with the series ending in a tie. Good luck to all those players moving on from the AMHA.

Thank you to all the coaches, players and parents for great year of hockey in Aylmer.

The organizations' overall Local League record was 116-78-39. See you all next year.

Sponsors
Tim Hortons
The Timbits Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program for children four to eight years old who participate in local house league sports teams. The program's philosophy is not based on winning or losing - but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just taking time out to be a kid. Tim Hortons currently sponsors over 200,000 children who play on hockey, soccer, lacrosse, t-ball, baseball and ringette teams across Canada and in the United States. Each sponsored team is supplied with Timbits Minor Sports jerseys or T-shirts. Timbits hockey teams are often given the opportunity to play on-ice scrimmages during intermissions at Junior, American Hockey League (AHL) and National Hockey League (NHL) games.
