Novice LL1, Novice, 2014-2015 (Aylmer Minor Hockey Association)

The Aylmer Novice LL1 Flames finished the playoff weekend with a tied series after a couple of hard fought games. On Saturday, Feb 7 the Flames kicked off their best of 5 series at home against Mt.Brydges.  The visitors scored the first 3 goals but the Flames battled back to make it 3-2 before Mt Brydges managed to score 2 more goals to make it 5-2.  The home team was able to score a late goal to finish the game with a score of 5-3.  In all the team played good but got beat by a couple of fast Mt Brydges players.  Graydon Foster may a bunch of key saves to keep the game within reach.  ...

The Mt. Brydges Blue exhibition home and away series wrapped up this weekend with both games ending in a tie.

Congratulations to the Aylmer LL#1 team for placing second in the December 28 Aylmer Local League Tournament.  The entire team played great all tournament and had to beat 2 tough teams before reaching the final game against a big and fast Embro team.

On December 14 Aylmer travelled to Lambeth #2.  Aylmer took the game 3-1 in one our closer scoring games.  Goals were scored by Rhyan Hewbank (2) and Cole Shoup.  Assist went to Colin Holmes(2), Matt Fleurie, Cole Shoup and Gavin Russell.  Grady Foster had to make several key saves to maintain the lead. On January 4 Lambeth travelled to Aylmer.  Coming off a few tough games Aylmer was able to maintain a tight forecheck keeping the puck in the visitors zone for long stretches with the score ending 6-2 for Aylmer.  Goals were scored by Rhyan Hewbank (3), Noah Sleegers, Cole Shoup and Colin ...
