Aylmer Takes Loss Against Point Edward
Aylmer hosted Point Edward on Sunday, November 22 and the visitors proved to be more than the home team could handle.
The game was close for the first two periods with Point Edward not scoring their first goal until the two minute mark of the first period and taking a three goal lead late in the second period. The Aylmer team ran out of gas in the third period allowing Point Edward to capitalize with three additional goals to win the game 6-0. Noah Sleegers had to make a number of good saves to keep the score down. Aylmer travels to Point Edward for a rematch on December 12. With a few adjustments, some healthy players and a little pregame "We will rock you" we are sure to be a much tougher opponent.
